I was born in the beautiful coastal town of Turkey, Izmir, and have a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration from Koc University, located in Istanbul, Turkey. 
 

Prior to joining Fordham as faculty, I was a postdoctoral fellow at The Human Flourishing Program at Harvard University, Institute for Quantitative Social Science and Harvard Kennedy School’s Center for Public Leadership.
 

I received my Ph.D. from Warwick Business School, UK, and hold a Master's degree in behavioral economics from Warwick University.
